The Militant Libertarian Blog

The Militant Libertarian Blog notes some people who got tossed from one of the carefully choreographed "non-partisan" town meetings pushing the president's social security reform plans. In Fargo it started circulating that there was a list that banned certain critics from the meetings. So much for a "represenative democracy" where the opinions of all are weighed and considered. I understand that certain people seem to have nothing better to do with their time than disrupt other people's lives and deserve to be barred from certain gatherings. But using NGO personnel as enforcers to throw people out of a meeting for which they had tickets simply because they had a bumper sticker saying "No More Blood for Oil" is a little extreme.

This almost as bad as the totally staged, fake visit to the Social Security Trust Fund. Those IOU's were not even convincing replicas. Gotta try harder next time, Prez...
